1987–1993 TH700R4 / 4L60 (Non-Electronic Units ONLY)
1987 is a split year – early vs auxiliary valve body units
1993 is a split year – introduction of the 4L60E (electronic)
How to Identify:
✅ Has TV (throttle valve) / detent cable → 700R4 / 4L60
❌ Has main electrical connector on case → 4L60E (NOT this kit)
Auxiliary valve body units can be identified by the casting line running through the cooler line area.
